Weems' Crisis Stabilization Unit is a sixteen bed short-term psychiatric stabilization program for adult men and women with mental health needs. Weems is sensitive to the needs of our local elderly community, and we have staff that is able to address the special needs of the elderly. These include educational seminars, crisis intervention, case management and emergency services. Weems' children and youth staff is skilled in treating a variety of mental health issues, including, but not limited to: Hyperactivity and other behavioral problems. Administration, health information technology, business services and public relations are located at the Main Center. Our services include individual therapy, nursing home placement and elderly day treatment, which is a structured, ongoing program available in Lauderdale, Kemper and Smith counties. We cover and offer employment in the following counties: Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Smith.
